Integration and Development: Chinese Nation in the Historical Process

Abstract: The Chinese nation has multiple origins, with different cultures. After long-term exchanges and integration, the relationship between various ethnic groups became increasingly close and the integrity of Chinese nation continuously strengthened, which contributes to the gradual formation of a pluralistic and unified ethnic relation pattern. In the process of national integration, the ethnic minorities' willingness to integrate with the Han people reflects their strong recognition of the Han people as well as the inalienability of China as a multiethnic nation. The inclusiveness and unity behind the pluralistic integration of the Chinese nation, which act as an important component of the spirit of Chinese nation, are bound to play a major role in promoting the unity of various ethnic groups, safeguarding the unification of China, and achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
